Match will be hosted at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium of the city. Final match scheduled at Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata. The Official Mascot for FIFA U-17 World Cup is a clouded leopard named as “Kheleo”. This is the first FIFA tournament to be organized in India.

Revenue Department under Union Finance Ministry has imposed a 5 year anti-dumping duty on Sodium Nitrite imports from China. Directorate General of Antidumping and Allied Duties (DGAD) recommended to impose the duty. DGAD said in his report that “continued dumping” of the ‘sodium nitrite’ from China is hampering the domestic market. Sodium Nitrite is a white type crystalline powder and mostly it used in the pharmaceutical and dye industries. It works as an oxidizing and reducing agent.
India and Germany signed an agreement to improve grid integration of renewable energy under the Indo-German Energy Programme – Green Energy Corridors (IGEN-GEC). The agreement was signed between India’s Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).

International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the UN global nuclear watchdog, has opened world’s first low Enriched Uranium (LEU) Bank at Oskemen in Kazakhstan to discourage new nations from enriching the nuclear fuel. IAEA will sell the fuel to its members if they are unable to procure it elsewhere. The IAEA is the world’s center for cooperation in the nuclear field and seeks to promote the safe, secure and peaceful use of nuclear technologies.
West Bengal’s Gobindobhog rice has got geographical indication (GI ) status from Geographical Indications Registry (GIR). The West Bengal government had applied for GI status for Gobindobhog rice in August 2015. Gobindobhog rice is a speciality rice from Burdwan district of West Bengal.
