Government Issues Alert ‘Locky Ransomware’
Indian Government organization Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) has issued an alert on the spread of new malware ‘Locky Ransomware’. The new Locky Ransomware malware can lock computers and demand ransom for unlocking them. Ajay Kumar, Additional Secretary of Electronics and IT tweeted that an alert regarding spam spreading Locky Ransomware was issued by Indian Computer Emergency Response Team. Ransomware is malicious software. Hackers put it into computers through and at its initial stage, malicious software lock the computer of user and demands the ransom of half Bitcoin. This year ransomware attacked on systems of different fields including government systems in various countries.
