Pulitzer-prize winner John Ashbery passes away
Pulitzer-prize winning American poet John Ashbery has passed away at age of 90 in Hudson, New York. He won Pulitzer Prize, National Book Award and National Book Critics Circle Award for his one and only 1975 collection “Self-Portrait in a Convex Mirror”. He became the single writer to earn three major awards for the same work in same year. John Ashbery has bagged with the National Humanities Medal by then-president Barack Obama in 2012.
