Sri Lanka set a score of 237 on 50 for India to win that’s look quite easy. But after a rain delay, the target was revised as 231 need on 47 to win.
Indian Opener Rohit Sharma (54) and Shikhar Dhawan (49) done very well and India loosed his first wicket on 109. Then after Dananjaya reduced Indian team score to 131 for seven in just space of 20 deliveries.
When Dananjaya came he first trapped Rohit Sharma with a leg-break. Shikhar Dhawan was gone in next over on Siriwardana bowl. Dananjaya bowled Kedar Jadhav (1), Virat Kohli (4) KL Rahul (4), Hardik Pandiya(0) and Axar Patel (6).
His inning trapped India fully. India was 131 for seven off 21.4 overs.
MS Dhoni (45 not out) and Bhuvneshwar Kumar (53 not out) made a 100 run partnership for eighth wicket and this steered the team to the victory. India scored 231 for 7 in just 44.2 overs.

Whether Sri lankan team lose the chance to win but Dananjaya finished the match with a career-best 6/54.
