Yogi Adityanath says Ayodhya our motherland and Ram a source of inspiration- On Sunday Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said “ Ayodhya is our motherland and Lord Ram is a source of inspiration.”

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was present to inaugurate a week-long programme to pay tribute to two former head priests of the Gorakhnath Temple on their death anniversaries. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has inaugurated “Ram Katha”, a week-long session at Gorakhnath Temple. Saints from all parts of the country will come to attend a week-long programme. They aims discuss on Sanatan Dharma, saving cows and Indian culture.

Inaugurating the programme, Yogi Adityanath said Ayodhya is our motherland and birthplace. There can’t be a match for mother and motherland. Lord Ram has given a lot to this country. He is a source of inspiration for all in family and social life and even when it comes to patriotism and nationalism.

A long-week programme is a tribute to former head priests of Gorakhnath Temple named mahant Digvijaynath and mahant Avaidyanath to mark their death anniversaries.

Swami Shankaracharya from Ayodhya will narrate ‘Ram katha’ during the week. Swami Shankaracharya said we have an example of Lord Ram and his life. His life is full of inspiration and devotion. People know the story of the Ramayana. But whenever ‘Ram katha’ is organised, people wants to listen it with renewed interest.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath questioned Ravan was very powerful but still defeated by Lord Ram. In answer, CM Yogi said “Despite being powerful, Ravan was defeated by Ram. When Ram asked the reason for his defeat, Ravan replied he was defeated as his brother was not with him while your brother Laxman stood by you.” He said, when he visited flood-hit areas, he saw people were singing devotional songs to seek strength and mercy from Lord Ram. During the flood they were asking to save them.

CM Yogi Adityanath also said that if we would not unite like Lord Ram, we couldn’t be victorious as we divide ourselves on the basis of caste or creed.

When CM Yogi Adityanath came to conclude his speech, a few saints demanded that the disputed site in Ayodhya be handed over to Hindus.
